Download the full installer for your version of Sibelius from www.sibelius.com/upgrade. For Sibelius 8 and later, this will be inside your Avid account You will need to enter your activation ID or serial number and choose option 2 for the full installer rather than the update.
If you have downloaded and installed the Sibelius 7 Sounds library, you must also download and install an update to Sibelius 7 Sounds. Do not download and install this update unless you have already installed the full Sibelius 7 Sounds package.

Help! Installed a trial of 8.1 to see if it was worth upgrading from my 7.0. That downloaded the Avid Application Manager, but after a week I was so fed up of this seemingly pointless app opening automatically upon start up that today I uninstalled it. And now, it seems that every score I opened in 8.1 has been DELETED! Why on earth would that happen? And why would Avid make that happen? Is there any way I can get my scores back?!
